Flight to Dominican Republic.
Meeting with our guide at the airport. Transfer to the hotel Atlantis or the hotel Bahia Las Ballenas, located in Playa Bonita (2 hour-drive from Santo Domingo).
Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 2 :

After breakfast, transfer to the ranch. After a tour of the ranch and a short briefing time and coffee, we meet the horses and take some time in the arena to find the horse who suits us best.
Barbecue at the ranch, around our large table, before going for a two-hour ride outdoor, between hills and lagoons, taking our time to enjoy the different viewpoints on our way.
In late afternoon, we go back to the ranch and take care of our horses before our transfer back to the hotel.
Night at the hotel.
(3 hours on horseback)

Day 3 :
After breakfast, we go back to the ranch for a day-ride to Playa Garrita. Into the wild, trailing on verdant hills up Sanchez Bay, we get to Playa Garrita slowly, in order to appreciate better the magnificent landscapes offered by Dominican nature.
At our arrival on Sanchez Bay, we take some time to relax under the shade of coconut-trees and have our packed lunch in front of Los Haitises National Park.
The way back is more adventurous, to the top of the loma where our ranch is located. This itinerary allows some fast gallops.
Back to the ranch, we take care of our horses and go back to Las Terrenas by car.
Night at the hotel.
(around 5 hours on horseback)

Day 4 :
After breakfast, transfer to the ranch.
We take our horses to their field on the seaside. Las Terrenas backcountry is waiting for us, with its typical villages, their inhabitants, their customs, forests, the coffee road and many different landscapes which are inviting us to ride deep into the atmosphere of the Dominican Republic.
We reach the field before lunch, take care of the horses and have lunch in a local comedor.
After lunch, we go back to the hotel, and enjoy a free afternoon.
Night at the hotel.
(4 hours on horseback)

Day 5 :
After breakfast, we meet our horses at their field nearby the sea.
Today, we go on horseback on the beach of Las Ballenas and Popi. We reach Playa Popi where rio, mangrove swamps and corral reef are waiting for us.
We have a packed lunch on the beach and go back to the hotel, riding along Playa Las Ballenas and its fisher village, enjoying, depending on the season, a wonderful sunset !

Day 6 :
After breakfast and a short transfer to the field, we go again for an incredible day on horseback on the beaches of Playa Bonita and Playa Coson, known as the most beautiful beaches of Dominican Republic !
We discover the wild bay in Playa Coson, its large expanse of fine sand, among hills, cliffs and clear waters... We have lunch in a typical restaurant settled on the beach, in Playa Coson. Fresh juices and grilled lobster, depending on the season, compose the menu of this typical lunch.
This afternoon, we ride on Playa Bonita and enjoy a swim with our horses until sunset. Tonight, the horses go back to the field with the guide, while we go back to our hotel, located on the same beach.

ACCOMMODATION

RANDOCHEVAL - Dominican Republic - bed

Accommodations
Each night, you will sleep in a charming and comfortable hotel, in double room with private bathroom. The hotel is on the seaside, so you can enjoy the beach (but the sun sets early).

Depending on your wishes and availabilities, we suggest accommodation at the Atlantis hotel. Eighteen rooms may be available in a paradisiac setting, nearby a beautiful beach. The chef of the restaurant was, in the past, a cook at the Elysee Palace.

The second hotel suggested is the hotel Bahia Las Ballenas. The quality of this accommodation is the same as the hotel Atlantis, but, in addition, you can enjoy the swimming pool in a verdant setting, nearby the beach.

Food
You can enjoy hearty breakfasts in the different hotels in which you will stay.
At lunch, we can either stop in typical restaurants or have a picnic lunch or barbecue.
Dinner is not included, so you can try the different restaurants of Las Terrenas, or on the beach.
