Day 1:
Arrival in Siem Reap in the morning.
Our guide is waiting for us at the airport. Today, we discover the city of Siem Reap, its local craft industry and its Wat Bo pagoda, if the weather is good.
Meals non included and night at the hotel.

Day 2:
This morning, we go and discover the surroundings of Siem Reap on horseback. For four hours, we ride in the countryside, among vegetation and rice fields, accross small villages and sacred temples.
Then, we take care of our horses, have lunch and go in tuk-tuk to the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom. We discover the surrounding walls of this ancient city hidden in the forest. We visit Angkor Thom, the "big royal city" and the famous Bayon, wonderful temple of the area. Then we go to Preah Khan, a second wonderful temple also built for King Jayavarman VII in the 12th century. We take small paths in the forest to the isolated temple of Ta Nei. Then we walk to Ta keo, one of the first temples built in Angkor, to end our trek at Ta Phrom, the famous Ceiba temple.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
4 hours on horseback.

Day 3:
After breakfast, we go for four hours on horseback, to explore more deeply this wonderful country. We go back to the ranch before lunch.
This afternoon, we leave for the countryside accross villages. We visit Roluos temples and the mountain-temple of Bakhong. Then we discover, after a short trek, a small and unknown temple, isolated in the forest. On the ancient Royal Road, we explore the collapsed galleries of the lost temple of Charo Srei Vibol and its pagoda.
Dinner and night in a guesthouse, in a traditional Khmer house.
4 hours on horseback.

Day 4:
This morning, we go to the lost temple of Beng Melea, a forgotten miniature of Angkor Wat. We discover it in the maze of Suryavarman through archways, galleries and "gopura" hidden by roots of Ceiba trees.
We go by car to the Thousand Lingas River. We walk in the bed of the river sculpted in the 11th century in the forest of the Sacred Mountain Phnom Kulen. On our path, we take advantage of a waterfall for a swim and refreshment.
Then, we head towards Bantey Srei, a jewel of the 10th century, temple dedicated to Shiva. Far from mass tourism, it opens its gates.
After the visit, we go back to Siem Reap.
Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 5:
Today, we ride bicycles ! We cycle along the river to reach the Western gate of Angkor Wat.
In such a rich place, we have to take our time. We spend the day there, to immerse ourselves of this ambiance of this jewel of architecture, unique in the world.
To end this day properly, we admire a wonderful sunset on the temple.
For those who do not want to cycle, a car is available.
Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 6:

This morning, we meet our horses again for four hours in the countryside from one typical village to another. We visit the Silk Centre on our way.
After lunch, we leave for Chong Knea, a village built on the lake Tonle Sap, the Big Lake of Cambodia. We take some time to observe the life in lake dwellings. Each year, the waterline of the lake varies from four to eight meters, flooding all the fields and forests around.
We go back to Siem Reap by the end of the day to have time to visit the old marketplace and the town centre. In the evening, we enjoy one hour aromatherapy in the famous Frangipani Spa.
Dinner and night at the hotel.
The program of this day can be modified depending on hydrologic conditions.

Day 7:
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, we are driven back to the airport.
