We followed a Kyrgyz nomad family at the border between China and Kyrgyzstan, deep in Tien Shan mountains, towering our route at 7000 m high.

We arranged this adventurous trail for a French TV team who wanted to film the nomad way of living. This program is a special itinerary, not exactly the same as the one we follow in our usual rides, but the scenery and the nomads families are very similar. An important point : our rides in Kyrgyzstan are taking place in July and August, with much better weather conditions... But the TV team wanted to follow a family taking their cattle, yaks and horses on the high pastures for the summer, so we had no choice for the date, we had to leave in May !

 

NB: Those pictures were taken in May, that explains the cloudy weather we had. Please note the weather is much better during the months we organize the trail ride from June to September.
