Our guide, Gabriel, didn't stop inviting me on his trails. When he contacted me telling me there was still seat available for "the round up trail and cattle drive experience" in November, I bought a flight ticket. Since I spent my stay in a ranch in USA, I wanted to go somewhere esle to lead cattle on horseback. |

When you don't have camp under tent, you stay in charming haciendas with the facilities to freshen up.

Chagras and cattle drive experience

We meet the gauchoes and the local cowboys, dressed in their multicoloured ponchos and traditional chaps. It is chagras which lead their herds of cattle through the Andean altiplano.
So we ride with tthem before coming down for night in the valleys where nest colored villages.
