TURKEY : HORSE RIDING TRAILS IN CAPPADOCIA...

Itinerary - Extensions - Horses and required riding level
Guiding - Accommodation - Dates and rates - More infos / booking

In the heart of Turkey, Cappadocia offers unique landscapes, a real labyrinth of stones in a lunar world sculptured by volcanic eruptions and natural erosion.

The name Cappadocia comes from the Persan word "katpatuka", country of beautiful horses. Discover this region on horseback looking for the hidden secrets of mineral cathedrals : troglodyte chapels hewn into the heart of fairy chimneys, underground cities and villages with age old traditions...

The high contrasts of the different valleys, sometimes desert, sometimes luxouriants will charm you. Crossing the river beds are as much occasions for a refreshing bath as well for the horses as for the riders.

Randocheval : Cappadocia on horseback - ride through fairy chimneys

Randocheval : Cappadocia on horseback - approaching the fairy chimneys

We propose three different itineraries in this unique scenery :

- Cappadocia "in full" - 13 days
- "Landscapes of Anatolia" bivouac version - 1 week around Guzelyurt
- Cappadocia "express" guesthouse version - 1 week around Avanos
We also propose the same riding program with a confort option : either in a high standard hotel or in typical ottoman guesthouses: Charming Cappadocia
