Our Estancia is a true working ranch at the core of the Argentine Pampas. It is a 4 000 acres Estancia, located 150 miles away from Buenos Aires city. The Estancia is dedicated to livestock production and Argentine horse breeding barn. The horses you will ride are top of class. They have all participated in horse shows with great success. 
On top of this, you will share time outdoors with our gauchos (the local cowboys). They are all horse loving people and very proud of their way of life and cattle raising skills. They are the true spirit of the endless Pampas and Argentine culture. Argentine history has elevated them to the level of myth. They are celebrated in both song and prose where they became truly heroic figures who pronounce their virtues as knights would with strength, bravery and honour.
Feel at ease to run horses all day long and help the gauchos in their everyday work. Join them in a cattle drive as you can hoot and holler like those cowboys in the movies as you focus on following their three virtues in a character building experience. This is one of these few situations where you can still feel the spirit of freedom.
Enjoy the excellent local cuisine, comfortable accommodations and tasteful decoration, etc.

Day 1 – Buenos Aires / Estancia
Arrive Buenos Aires during the morning. Pick up at International Airport at preset time. 3 hs. drive to Estancia in the Pampas. Lunch. Horseback riding in the afternoon. With the help of your guide we will introduce you to the Argentine horse breed and assign your horse for the rest of the stay. We will ride the surroundings of the Estancia to get used to your horse and learn about the daily activities at the Estancia. A hearty Argentine welcome dinner.

Day 2-3-4 – Horseback and ranch activities
During your stay you will be riding Argentine breed  horses on the famous Pampas grasslands, wonderful long canters on the plains and the chance to explore the quaint and charming villages throughout the area. The gauchos (our cowboys) will be eager to teach you the “secrets” of cattle work and horse breeding. You will enjoy both the horseback and ranch activities at the Estancia over the next few days, including:

1. Ride the El Gato river banks. This portion of wilderness will let you see how the Pampas were originally
2. Conventional cattle work, cattle driving and barrel racing
3. Drive 19th century carriages
4. On a longer day we will ride past neighboring Estancias only to make a stop under the shade of the trees to lunch a traditional Argentine barbecue

Day 5 – Estancia / Buenos Aires
We will ride during the morning and then say good bye to the horses.  After lunch we leave the Estancia and head to Buenos Aires city. Hotel check in. Free time to wander around the city, go shopping, visit museums.

Day 6 – Buenos Aires
Breakfast. We meet to take some time to visit the city and learn about its icons in a very special way:  Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada’s balcony, Eva Peron, etc. Set aside the evening for tango. We will attend a tango show with dinner and a tango lesson at Complejo Tango. Night at hotel.

Buenos Aires

To make the most of your stay in Argentina, we suggest you to spend a few days in Buenos Aires. From the city center and its French style with grand avenues, old-time cafes and stylish restaurant, to the Boca, the italian area with its coulourfull houses along the Riachuelo river, Buenos Aires is more european than south american, but so charming !
We offer you to spent the night in a central four star hotel, including breakfast, and visit the city at your pace (entrance fees, meals and personal expenses are not included).

Iguazu falls (3 days / 2 nights) Between Argentina and Brazil, the Iguazu falls are 4 km long and 70 meter high creating a spectacular scenery. This falls are registered since 1984 to the Unesco world heritage as the national park in which they are located. You'll be free to discover the site according to your wills. For example, you'll have the possibility to do some visits in the park, in the tropical forest and over the river to admire the falls from above thanks to footbridges. We offer you to spend 3 days and 2 nights in Iguazu, in a four star hotel, including breakfast and a return flight ticket. Are not included in the package : meals, transfers, entrance fees and personal expenses.

HORSES AND REQUIRED RIDING LEVEL

Horses All horses you'll ride are pure criollo horse, all bred on the estancia. All of them are reliable and are used to cattle and cattle work. Tack Typical racado tack. Leather saddletree, sheep skin on it with a stip to fix all of it.

Required Level
We ask the rider wishing to come to be at ease at all gates as you'll do some catlle work that may be dangerous without equestrian experience.

You'll also need to be fit enough to stay 5 to 6 hours in the saddle every day.

Maximum weight: 90 kg.

YOUR GUIDES

The local team is composed of gauchos in charged of the cattle work and to prepare the horses you'll ride. The Estancia crew will be devoted to your stay. A 100% personalized service is part of the philosophy and culture of the place. .

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation The guest house is old but recently renovated and as a swimming pool. Bedrooms are very comfortable and each one has is own bathroom. Duble room to be shared on the estancia and double or triple room to be shared in Buenos Aires . Single room is available, please ask on booking time. Meals This stay is a great occasion to taste typical argentinian cuisine. Meet lovers will particularly enjoy their stay with the famous asado ! (barbecue) You'll also have the chance to taste different wine from Argentina as your host are wine lovers and like to offer their client the opportunity to discover them.

DATES AND RATES

- Small group supplement : + 180 € per person for 2 to 3 riders group; + 70 € per rider for 4 to 5 riders group.
Partial or total refund of the supplement at the end of the trip depending of the total of riders booked.

- Extra day on the Estancia : + 190 € / day / person (double room to be share basis)

- Single room supplement : + 280 € / night
If you're willing to share your room, this supplement won't be applied.
