Near the most beautiful coast of Turkey, close to Antalya, beneath the
piedmonts of Toros Mountains, the ranch, is one of the best alternate
for those who are longing for Nature and are passionate lovers of horses.
Lying at the intersection point of the Agva stream and Tahtalý Mount "2875m"
which is the second highest hill of Toros Mountains, the Ranch seems like
a paradise amongst the orange trees, grenadine gardens and pine forests.
The Ranch with its thirty horses of Arabs and Thoroughbread as well as
European and local turkish breeds, is waiting for those who desire to
ride horses in the exoticism of Mediterranean and who are nature lovers.

ITINERARY
Riding trail in Taurus Mountains
The trail program is making on the Taurus montains. We ride surroundings
of Tahtali mountain which is 2365 m. altitude. We ride in around
1000 m. altitude all along the week, so we can provide the trail
in all summer season because the temparature are 5-7°C degrees
lower than in the valley. On the trail, you will sleep for 3 nights
in the mountains and 4 nights at the ranch.
Day 1- Saturday
On your arrival day, you will check in, have a welcome
cocktail,and the ranch will be showed you around. Then, informations
about the riding program, the activities and excursions will
be given.
Day 2 - Sunday
There will have an introduction concerning horses; meet
your instructors and warm up at the manège. Group arrangement
will be made according to the riders skill level, then we
will ride in the pine forest.
Day 3 - Monday
We start our Trail program with 5-6 hours ride up to the
village of Gedelme. The trail goes through the Kesme Bogazi
ravine and clings to the precipitous mountain walls with the
Agva River rushing below. Gedelme is situated on the mountain
plateau and has many interesting tourists sights that can be
visited this afternoon or next day in the morning. There is
a famous 2,500 year old Plane tree, illuminated grotto, old
ruines of a castle and a nomad tent encampment. Lunch will be
at your own expences.
Day 4 - Tuesday
After saying goodbye to Gedelme we set off on a 5-6 hours
ride to Yayla Kuzdere. Lunch which is not included, will be
in one of the many villages along the way. Yayla Kuzdere is the closest village to the top of the Tahtali Mountain
whose summit is covered with snow till about the second week
of June. The ski resort has opened here in 2007. Along
the way, you can admire the coastal views and a pine forest.
Day 5 - Wednesday
Our next stop will be the village Ovacik, after a 5-6 hours
ride. Ovacik offers amazing views as it is located on a plateau
surrounded by mountains as its Turkish name implies. Lunch at
leisure.
Day 6 - Thursday
After having a traditional Turkish breakfast, we will return
to the ranch through the Kesme Bogazi Ravine 5-6 hours ride.
This ravine is flanked by rugged mountain walls. During the
ride we can refresh ourselves in the ice-cold water of the Agva
river. The latter rushes down the Kesme Bogazi gorge and our
trail clings to the side of the mountain walls. Lunch (not included)
Day 7 - Friday
On the last day we ride towards the ancient temple on the
Olympos Mountain. In this 4 hours trip we will be riding uphill
600-700 m and 8 km in the forest to this magnificient place.
Up on the hills we are going to tether our horses near a refreshing
water spring and then have a 10 minutes walk to the mysterious
Temple which offers us a fabulous scenery of the Mediterranean
Sea towards the Kumluca village. After we return to the ranch,
where a special night will be waiting for you.
Day 8 - Saturday
Departure day. After the last meal at the ranch, it is time
to say goodbye to our horses and guides, and leave for the airport.

Ranch riding stay
You will ride for 6 days (about 3h00 - 3h30) on the different tracks
all around the ranch and come back for the night to the ranch at the
beginning of the afternoon. That leaves you free time to make lots
of activities (swimming pool, tennis, bike, trekking,...). The itinerary
we present is given as an exemple to show you the possibilities you
might have during your week at the ranch.
Day 1
Transfer from Antalya airport to the Ranch. Meet the horses
and guides, chat with them about the weekly schedule, and have
some rest till dinner (depending on arrival time).
Day 2
Meeting in the manege after the breakfast. Instructions concerning
horses will be given.At 10am,we are riding towards Tahtali mountain
to the house of Yörük ( Juruk ) Halil Karakoyunlu
where we will experience real Turkish country life. First we
take a half an hour ride to watch the magnificent Mediterranean
bays from the "crusing hills".A great opportunity
to take pictures. At the Yörük Halil house the family
will tell us many interesting stories about highlanders' lifestyle.
We also can get delicious home made " Gözleme"
of Halil's wife and drink Ayran " Yoghurt" while enjoying
Turkish mountain life. After tea, we will start our way back.
While moving up to the mountain path on the right side we will
see Kuzdere, Kemer and Göynük villages and on the
other side we will enjoy the magnificent Mediterranean sea.
If you have a look back you will see the second highest hill
( 2360 m) of the Taurus Mountain Chain, "Tahtali mountain"
with its majestic sight and exquisite green vegetation of Sogut
Cumasi Plateau. You will have a rest and a delicious dinner
when we arrive at the Ranch.
Day 3
After breakfast, we are riding to Kuzdere village, one of the
most interesting and picturesque villages in this area. You
may experience the cultural and authentic view of our country.
You will drink classic Turkish tea at Oldies Mission Caffée
in the village, have a chance to know more about the local people.
You will explore the village, riding along Kuzdere mosque and
the village school.After drinking our tea we will continue our
trip which is going to Kesme Bagazi ( gorge). It is possible
to take a break there to have a snack and a swim( depends on
the weather conditions).
Day 4
We are leaving for a new trail on horseback towards Alaca Su Bay,
located 12km from our ranch. This place is one of the most beautiful
bays of the region, where the historical city of Phaselis was built.
It is said that it was a secret place where lovers used to meet.
After a fantastic ride through the pine forest,you will have the
opportunity to stop there for a swim bath in the crystal clear waters
of the sea, or just hang out and relax on the beach, before the
exciting gallop on our way back to the Ranch.
Day 5
We ride to Kesme Bogazi, 11 Km far from our ranch. Kesme Bogazi ravine
is flanked by rugged mountain walls. After riding, you can refresh
and swim in the ice-cold waters of the Agva River that flows inside
a valley. Then, while going towards Gedelma village we can make wonderful
gallop. Ther, we change our course and ride in the pine forest towards
the sunset. It is very difficult to go back after that amazing trip
but the ranch is always waiting for us with its peaceful atmosphere.
Day 6
We will discover Taurus mountain. And on our way to the Seyir Hill
we will enjoy the marvelous view of the pine tree forest. After getting
into the forest , we will ride towards an ancient Temple on Olympus
Mountain. We will ride uphill 600-700 m and 8 km in the forest to
this magnificent place. Up on he hills we are going to tether our
horses near a refreshing water spring and then have a 10 minutes walk
to the mysterious Temple which offers us a fabulous scenery of the
Maditerranean sea towards Kumluca Village. On the right you will see
Kuzdere, Kemer and Göynük Villages, on the left you will
see the long blue beach line of Antalya. If you have a look back ,
you will see the second highest hill ( 2360 m ) of the Taurus Mountain
Chain, "Tahtali Mountain" with its majestic sight and exquisite
green vagetation of Sogut Cumasi Plateau. In front of you there will
be the most magnifcent view of the Mediterranean. By this time it
will be under a spell of the blue shining sea. After we return to
the ranch you will have a very special night.
Day 7
After a delicious breakfast, once again we will taste the Beauty
of the Taurus Mountain and explore the beautiful surroundings riding
horses. We will pass through a farm, then head off to a natural
water pool. After that we ascend through the pine forest until we
reach natural water pools where we make a break for swimming. On
our way back to the ranch we will enjoy the most wonderful nature.
Day 8
After breakfast and a farewell cocktail, our guests will be transfered
to the airport.
The program of every day is indicative, and will be adapted depending
on weather, and riding abilities.
Every day is included a pack lunch that will be taken during the horse
tour. You can also choose to eat at the ranch restaurant after your
daily ride, around 2.30pm. In that case, you will have to pay directly
your meal at the restaurant.

Only for riders who ask for a single room. For those who are willing
to share, will not pay the supplement even if they are finally in a
single room.
Be careful : a 35 euros supplement is required for transfer supplement
from and to Antalya airport for single booking
