ITINERARY

Day 1:
Flight to Dublin. Arrival in Ireland between 12.00 and 3.00pm.
Transfer to the centre and meeting with the horses and the staff of the centre, then, you can settle in your caravan at 4.00pm. This afternoon, you learn the first information to drive a horse drawn caravan. You can also define a described itinerary for the week with the staff of the centre who can help you find the best itinerary for you, depending on what you want to do during your holidays.
Night in your caravan on the spot.

Day 2:
This morning, you attend a demonstration in which you learn how to take care of the horse, how to brush him, harness him, feed him and make him feel good all week long. Then you take your time to get used to the horse who will draw your caravan during the week and apply what you learnt in the morning.
In the early afternoon, you can finally go on the road, guiding your caravan, in total freedom.
It is important to keep in mind that you must, everyday, reach your stop for the night half an hour before sun set.
Night in your caravan.

Day 3 to 7:
Everyday, you follow the itinerary you chose, guiding your caravans in the mountains, the countryside or along the seaside of the wonderful Wicklow county. You follow your own rhythm, stopping every night in farms, guesthouses, hotels or pubs in which you can find toilets and showers, the ground for the caravan, grass for the horse, and often much more! The average distance walked by a horse drawing a 750kg caravan is 20km a day (four hours necessary). At night of day 7, you are back at the centre where you spend the last night in your caravan.

Day 8:
This morning, you give your caravan back for 10.00am. A transfer is organized to Dublin airport in the morning.
Flight back to your country.
