TRAIL IN THE NATURAL PARKS OF MAJORCA

The main objectif of these trail week is to visit five wonderful reclaimed Monasteries which are part of the historical Island heritage. The magnificent of the beauty paths and ways of the trails will bring us back to the times of the great “Mallorquinas plantations”. Fun and enjoyment will be shared by everyone and are always guaranteed, by taking in fantastic views of all the interesting and idyllic resorts that we are going to visit on horseback and to ride all the modalities as walk, trab and canter as well as the ways allow us to follow..

Finally a programme for beginners! On mornings you have lessons to learn how lead your horses and to feel good at all gaits... On afternoons you practice riding outdoor to put into your knowledges along the paths of the majorquin country.

EXTEND YOUR TRIP

Note you can easily extend you trip to the Finca without horse riding or with only a few lessons, and discover the other part of the Island with a rental car. You can visit Majorca Cathedral (it celebrated its 700 years old in 2006), King Jacques Ist conquest road, Alaro Castle... See our rates !

HORSES AND REQUIRED RIDING LEVEL
Horses
For the trails and beginners programme, horses used are cruzado horses, a mix of iberic horses and english saddle horses. For the dressage lessons, you'll ride Pure Spanish Breed stallions, all bred on the finca.
Tack
Saddles are andalusiers, English saddles or trail saddles with saddle bags.
Recommended riding level
We ask all riders to be comfortable at all paces and to have a good stamina (maintly for the Monasteries routes because it's a very sportive trail), in order to easily ride the daily 3 to 6 hours on horseback.
Only experienced rider are allowed to do the dressage program.
Useful information
Children from 12 years old are welcome on this trail if they have the required riding level.
Non riders are also welcomed to the Finca. We will suggest them to rent a car for their stay in order to visit the different interesting points of the island. Possibility to rent bicycles directly.

Accommodation
The main house dated from the 18th century is surrounded by large green lawns and it is set in a lovely garden full of palm trees, flowers, fruit trees, greenery as well as a wonderful, shaddy outdoor terrace, bar and restaurant. In addition there is also a TV room indoors which can also be used for seminars, weddings etc. On the lawns you can relax, take a sunbath or read in a cosy corner, meanwhile your children are playing around. The swimming-pool has a large terrace surrounded by orange and fig trees. Sun loungers and parasols are always at your service. The depth of the pool is 1,40 to 1,50 meters. You will stay in one of the three annexes with a total of 15 rooms, which have all facilities, air-conditioning, heating, safe, phone and terraces (appr. 50 m from the main building). No double bedded rooms but twin beds. Food The restaurant serves Mediterranean food where you can taste typical Mallorcan dishes. During the summer, dinner is served on the terrace. We also provide barbacue facilities in the garden. Possibility of menu for vegetarian and child menu. During the full days ride, our support vehicle will carry the lunch to the chosen place. |

The single supplement will be add to the rate if you're travelling alone even if
you agree to share. We'll reimburse you if we find another rider agree to share

Non rider discount : -310 € / person for one week and -620 € for combined week, -150 € for the beginners programme
Non riding children from 3 to 10 years rate: 460 € / person for one week and 920 € for combined week, 390 € for the beginners programme
RATE INCLUDING
- the trail as describe in full board basis from dinner of day 1 to the breakfast of day 8,
- airport return transfers to Palma airport,
- drinks during the trail day: water, coffee, soft drinks (not included during dressage lessons)
- the financial guarantee of all deposits sent to Randocheval.

Dressage programme : 8 days / 7 nights / 6 days on horseback (4 days with 8h lessons and 2 to 3h of ride outside every day)
Beginners programme : 6 days / 5 nights / 4 days on horseback (3 to 4h in the saddle every day)

ACCESS
Palma de Mallorca airport. Arrival on sunday from 8.00am to 6.00pm. Departure the sunday after from 10.00am.
CLIMATE
The temperatures start to increase in april and are very nice until october.
During summer times, the climate is hot and dry with average 25°C, and in winter, it's colder, but not under 12 to 13 °C.
Rains are not frequents and it generally rains during spring and autumn.
Formalities

Vaccination - health
No specific vaccinations. Don't forget your repatriation insurance.
We recommand to be update of usual vaccination, and especially tetanus..
A treatment against Malaria is also recommended. Please contact a doctor before departure.
