The Balkan National Parc is situated in the region of the highest mountains in the centre of Bulgaria.

This region is plenty of natural treasures: centuries old forests, infinite prairies covered with flowers in the spring time, cristal clear rivers in which you can see trouts swimming.

But this is not all, you also find here the biggest biodiversity of Bulgaria with about 220 different species of birds as well as numerous other protected animals such as the brown bear (symbol of the parc), chamoises, wolves, stags and imperial eagles.

One takes place in the heart of the mountains of the National Parc of the Balkans, symbolized by the brown bear, at the foot of the Mount Botev with its 2376 m of altitude.

The other itinerary is in the natural reserve of the Singing Rocks, known for their very special designs of rocky formations and their enourmous oak woods of more than 170 years of age.
