After every stay and trail we offer you can extend your trip and discover the fantastic Natural Park "Los Glaciaires" in Patagonia, where the famous Perito Moreno glacier is nested. We offer 3 nights in a very exclusive estancia located in this prestine site. |
ITINERARY
We offer you to experience this giant from the typically estancia built at the beginning of the 20th century and nested in Los Glaciares National Park.
During this 3 additional day you'll be free to discover the surroundings on horseback, cycling or hiking. All activities are included in the price and the full board too.
Sample of itinerary
Day 1
Fly to El Calafate. Welcome at the airport and transfer to the park.
Discovery of the place, dinner and first night at the estancia.
Day 2 & 3
Days are yours, and you can choose to participate to the activity you've selected :
- Help the argentinean gauchos in the daily cattlework with cows and ships.

- Horse riding trail on the 12 000 hectare property.
This activity is suitable for both novice and confident riders as different group are constituted. The trail duration are last 1h30 to 8h. To long trails are organised and are only suitable for confident riders. The first one goes to the chilean border (8h on horseback) and the second get close to the Perito Moreno (6h in the saddle).

Other activities :
- Fishing on Rico Lake, part of the Agrentino Lake and receivong Moreno water. This place is very close from the estancia.

- Hiking or cycling, the perfect way to relax and discover on your own the immediate surroundings of the estancia.

Day 4
Transfer to El Calafate airport for you return flight after breakfast.

Accomodation
Double room to be sahred basis, with private facilities and for the luckiest ones, panoramic view on the surroundings.
Meals
All meals are included and served at the estancia. Everybody eat together in a very relax atmosphere. Of course, all dishes are home made with local products.
During the trails outside of the estancia lunches are picnics.

Single room accommodation is mendatory for any individual traveller.

CLIMATE
The southern winter is rigorous, faithful in it just like Patagonia, but the summer is rather sweet, in spite of altitude.
It is raining very rarely on that side of the Andes, you are thus almost insured to benefit from a dry weather from November till April.

Vaccination - health
No specific vaccinations. Don't forget your repatriation insurance.
We recommand to be update of usual vaccination, and especially tetanus.
